Again this year, the Scioto Valley Chapter of the Ninety Nines held their Anniversary Banquet in the second-floor party room of the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant at Port Columbus. We all enjoyed the beautifully clear evening as we looked out across runway 28L, and watched the sun setting behind the skyline of Downtown Columbus in the west.
As in past years at this restaurant, our entree choices were Prime Rib, Farmhouse Chicken, or Lobster and Shrimp Linguine. Vegetarian dinners were available upon request. As always, all the food was delicious, well-prepared, and nicely served.

We don't know what Mary Biller, Terri Vrbancic, and Tracy Hahn were chuckling about here, but it must have been funny.

Joanne Austin pulled this photo down from the website, and had it converted to icing on the cake for this anniversary banquet. It shows the Scioto Valley 99s as they completed the Greene County, OH Compass Rose project on October 11, 2003. Everyone agreed it made a remarkable and fitting dessert to close out this year's banquet. And Yes, everything on the cake was edible!
