As we have in many previous years, the Scioto Valley Chapter of the
Ninety Nines again held their Anniversary Banquet in the second-floor party room
of the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant, overlooking runway 28L at Port Columbus.
We had a respectable turnout of 20 members and guests for dinner.
As in past years at this restaurant, we had an outstanding variety of
entree choices including beef, chicken, fish, shellfish, and vegetarian dishes, all at reasonable prices.
Jo-Ann Prater arranged for us to pre-select our dinner choices, so that she and
Jim could bring pre-printed place cards with our names and entree choices for
display at the tables. This was a big help to the servers for delivering our
dinners in a prompt and orderly fashion.
