8, 2004Mary and Kevin Biller hosted the 2004 Christmas Party for the Scioto Valley Chapter of the Ninety Nines. Again this year, the 99s voted to forego the Christmas-gift exchange in favor of donating an equivalent amount of money to the aviation-fuel fund for the International Health Service, to which Jo-Ann and Jim Prater contribute much service in Honduras.
Of course, another purpose of the annual Christmas Party is for the 99s to bring large quantities of home-baked cookies, and to pack them in decorated coffee cans, to be distributed to local Air-Traffic Control facilities and Fixed-Base Operators at the area's airports frequented by members of the Scioto Valley Chapter.
