Paula and Terri took the Gumman Traveler to Ross County to have our new Garmin 300XL GPS installed!
Kama Denney: flew to Medina/Findlay; numerous flights, have three students now!
Jo-Ann and Jim Prater leave for Honduras via AA on Thursday, Feb. 12. Medical mission lasts for two weeks.
Betty Obara flew to Cedar Key close to the Panhandle of Florida. It’s a beautiful place to visit, has a great seafood restaurant close by.

The meeting was called to order by Betty Obara, Chairman.
Attendance: Betty Obara, Marilynn Miller, Joanne Austin, Paula Hook, Mary Biller, Terri Vrbancic, guest Tracy Hahn, Paula Rumbaugh, Kama Denney, guest Bryan Gress, Abby Rice, Kay Hoelting, guest Norm Hoelting, Constance Copeland, guest Ray Copeland, Charma Huddy, JoAnn Prater, and Marjorie Anderson.
Minutes:
Reviewed as distributed; Motion to accept by Marilynn Miller, seconded by Marjorie Anderson, accepted as distributed.
Treasurer's report: Paula Rumbaugh moved to accept, seconded by JoAnn Prater. Motion accepted.
Old Business:
Alice Jackson Scholarship: Committee of Charma Huddy, Myra Jamison, and Paula Rumbaugh. Committee recommends that scholarship be awarded to Jennifer Billingsley. Marilynn Miller moved to accept recommendation; Connie Copeland seconded. Motion passed
New Business:
Nominating Committee for new officers to consist of JoAnn Prater, Marilynn Miller, and Kama Denney. Ballot to be developed by March meeting.
Right Seat Companion: Planned for October 1-3, 2004 at Bolton Airport with rain dates Oct 8-10, 2004.
Ground School Instructors: Study group to begin 2/15/04 at Paula Rumbaugh’s home.
Safety Seminar and Project Aware tentatively planned for July at the Dept. of Aviation.
Spring Sectional: Will be held in April near St. Louis. Need to plan on a sales table and volunteers to attend meeting and staff the table.
Air Race Classic: This year will begin and end in Wichita, KS. The last date to order packets is April 15, 2004.
Anniversary Dinner: Reservations must be turned in by March 8. Let Joanne Austin know how many will attend. Payment must be made in cash, credit card, or cashier’s check.
