Up, Up, and Away
Paula Rumbaugh and Hal took a wonderful trip to Egypt just before Christmas
(via Egypt Air). They spent 6 days in Cairo and 7 days on the Nile (Aswan, Kom
Ombo, Edfu, Luxor).
Marilynn Miller was not airborne but there was a display at the Westland Library
for Aviation Month. The display was up for two months showing pictures and
scrapbook information.
Marjorie Anderson flew commercial to Phoenix, AZ to visit her son Jonathon at
Luke AFB. She enjoyed the static display of airplanes and the flight line of
F-16s. She also flew to S.C. for a family event.
Jann Bowne and her husband flew to Lexington, KY to spend Christmas with their
daughter. Jann had to do her first approach in actual conditions without an
instructor. They also flew to Illinois to see their son and daughter-in-law,
then returned home via Lexington (dropping off their daughter).
