Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Marjorie Anderson.

Attendance: Marilynn Miller, Joann Austin, Paula Rumbaugh, Paula Hook, Abby Rice, Kay Hoelting, Myra Jamison, Janie McIntire, Marjorie Anderson, Jann Bowne, Terri Vrbancic, Dana Rogers, Charma Huddy, Mary Biller.

Minutes of Previous Meeting: The minutes of the April meeting were approved as published in the meeting notice.

Treasurer’s Report:  The report stands approved as read by Charma Huddy.

Report of Airmarking Committee:  No report.

Report of Standing Committees:

A.  Fall 2006 Section Meeting:  No report.

B.  Right Seat Companion/Project Aware (Paula Rumbaugh, Chair):

• Marilynn Miller reported that we have five flight students and six ground school students registered.
• We have four instructors.
• Paula Rumbaugh would like to give the flight instructors a small gift of appreciation.
• Janie McIntire moved to allow a $50 gift per instructor, Marilynn Miller seconded, and the motion was granted.

Announcements:

1. A reminder to please pay your membership dues if you have not already done so.

2. Hostesses are needed.
   June: Janie McIntire signed up for the June meeting. She offered to have the meeting at her house so that we could look at and possibly purchase items from her aviation collection. She will donate half of her earnings to the section meeting fund. Janie also said she would provide dinner so you need to let her know who will be coming.
   July: Dana Rogers
   September: Paula Hook

3. Norm Hoelting brought old radios and will explain how they work.

4. Terri Vrbancic received her instrument rating!
