Up, Up, and Away
Jann & George Bowne flew to Philadelphia so George could run in the Penn Relays. They survived their first foray into Class B airspace. They returned via Lexington, KY where they visited their daughter.

The meeting was called to order by Jann Bowne.

Minutes of Previous Meeting: The minutes from the April meeting stand approved as published in the newsletter.

• Janie will check to see if there are any volunteer opportunities for us at the Mustangs & Legends Event in September.
New Business:
• Next month’s meeting will be in Springfield.
• Please write to your congressional representatives regarding the
new funding structure.
Reminders:
• WWII speakers at Parent Board at Linworth Elementary School next Wednesday at 7:00.
Announcements:
• Jo-Ann Prater displayed the Tee-shirt she received from IHS for their 25th Anniversary. It lists all the villages the group has worked at.
