Minutes of the Scioto Valley 99s November 8, 2006 meeting
Up, Up, and Away
Amy flew the “99s Fly for Breast Cancer Cure” the month of October and raised
$200. She flew two young men, her daughter Ellen’s boyfriend, Sean, and a
teenage son of one of her staff, on their first small plane flight ever (during
the month’s flights).
Jann and George Bowne flew to Alton, Illinois (near St. Louis) to spend the
weekend with their son and daughter-in-law to help them install a new french
door. It was a long trip out due to a headwind but the return trip was just
under two hours!
