Minutes of the Scioto Valley 99s October 13, 2004 meeting

Up, Up, and Away

Constance and Ray Copeland flew to Minnesota to harvest their “potato” crop with their son Matt. The weather was warm, the skies clear and the trees put on a spectacular color show.

Ray Copeland and Marilynn Miller flew to Springfield, Ohio and viewed the colors on the way.

Myra Jamison and Marilynn Miller went to Ontario, Canada for a canal boat trip, which turned into a river boat trip. A restful type of vacation.

Marilynn also attended a reunion of Powder Puff Derby pilots. So much fun seeing Derby pilots from long ago.

Mary and Kevin Biller flew to Parkersburg airport and stayed overnight in Marietta, Ohio for a friend’s 50th birthday celebration. While there they went on a dinner cruise on a paddleboat on the Ohio River.

Mary Biller also received her tail-wheel endorsement.
