Up, Up, and Away
Jann and George Bowne have flown to Niagara for a weekend at Niagara Falls and to Traverse City, MI for Labor Day weekend.
Paula and Hal took the Traveler to Niagara on the Lake, Canada for a short
vacation. While there we saw four wonderful plays, part of the Shaw Festival.
The following weekend, Paula and Amy flew to Stratford, Ontario, Canada, for the
Shakespeare Festival. This has become an annual event for us. And – Surprise! –
we ran into Myra Jamison at our first play, Measure for Measure. So we had lunch
with Myra and her friend the next day, at the Boar’s Head Pub.
Terri took Paula up in her Taylorcraft on Labor Day! We went to Half Assed Landings, where a friend of hers took each of us up for a few wing-overs and rolls in his aerobatic experimental. Then lunch at Mt. Victory! Terri loves those grass strips!!
Ray and Connie flew to Walker, Minnesota to harvest their potato “crop” and visit with 2 sons and their families. Head winds both ways. We had to stop in Oshkosh for fuel, which was a fast fuel stop for us.
